How to choose a social media agency in Coimbatore: 8 questions to ask

A portfolio shows taste. It does not prove that an agency can bring you enquiries. These eight questions help you tell the difference.

1. Who will actually do the work?

Ask for the names of the people who will plan your calendar, shoot and edit, and run your ads. If the answer is vague, expect delays.

2. What will I receive every month, in numbers?

A good agency states the number of posters, reels, stories and ad campaigns in writing. Vague promises like "regular posting" are hard to hold anyone to.

3. How do you report results?

Ask to see a sample monthly report. It should show spend, reach, enquiries and the cost of each enquiry, as counted by Meta or Google. Likes alone do not pay your bills.

4. Who pays for the ads, and where?

Ad spend should go straight from your account to Meta or Google. If an agency wants to collect your ad money, ask why.

5. How do approvals work?

You should see every post before it goes live and be able to comment on it. Chats and voice notes get lost. A single place that records who approved what, and when, protects both sides.

6. Do you understand my industry's rules?

Clinics, schools, real estate and financial businesses all have advertising rules. Ask what the agency will not post for you, and why.

7. What happens when something does not work?

Campaigns fail sometimes. A good agency tells you what did not work, what they learned and what they will change. Be careful with anyone who only shows wins.

8. Can I talk to a client?

Ask for one client who is similar to your business and is happy to speak to you. Ask that client how fast the agency replies.

A short call with an agency tells you a lot. If they ask about your customers, your budget and your goals before they talk about themselves, that is a good sign.

Questions, answered.

How do I choose a social media agency in Coimbatore?
Ask who will do the work, what you will receive each month in numbers, how results are reported, who pays for ads, how approvals work, and whether they understand your industry's advertising rules. Ask to speak to a similar client.
Should an agency handle my ad money?
Ad spend should be paid directly by you to Meta or Google, so you can see every rupee. The agency charges a separate management fee.
What should a monthly social media report include?
Spend, reach, enquiries and the cost per enquiry, as counted by the ad platform, plus a short note on what worked and what did not.
